“Weird Al” Gets A Whiplashing From J.K. Simmons

Reading Time: 1 minute

With the Oscars less than two weeks away and “Weird Al” Yankovic’s Mandatory World Tour kicking off in a few short months, “Weird Al” is brushing up on his live, musical timing with Best Actor nominee J.K. Simmons. In the above clip from College Humor, Al takes over the Miles Teller role from Whiplash, showing up to receive some accordion coaching from cantankerous conductor Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons). Comedy ensues.

If you haven’t yet seen Whiplash, which is an Academy Awards Best Picture nominee, I recommend you do so immediately. Its one of the best films of 2014. If you’re expecting comedy however, stick with”Weird Al’s” spoof instead and check him out on tour this spring.
