In a convergence of items very interesting to me and, presumably, some of you, the San Francisco-based band, Primus, is releasing a new album entitled Primus & the Chocolate Factory. The fourteen track album, which releases next week, will feature their take on the soundtrack from the movie, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Primus is well-known for being more than just a bit off center and this latest effort reinforces that reputation in a big way. The album features the classic lineup of Les Claypool, Ler LaLonde, and Tim Alexander and can be found everywhere music can be downloaded. If you can’t wait to hear it, check out this page over at the New York Times. They’re currently streaming the whole album.
