This is one of the more underappreciated Kickstarters I’ve seen in a while. I love the concept, love the art, and really think this would be a fun game to play. Yet they’ve only achieved a small percentage of their goal.
I think this learning method is one that should be explored more. As a kid I abhorred history class, but loved historical fiction, documentaries, and any other medium that made history more than just memorizing four digit numbers. Immersing kids onto a historically accurate (or inaccurate) world and allowing them to make and avoid the same mistakes the original players made sounds like a lot more fun than boring lectures and rote memorization.
