Thor Dark World 2D BD artToday marks the release of Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World on home video release. This one continues the adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.

I really enjoyed “Thor 2” almost more than the original. It has such strong ties to The Avengers that it feels more like a sequel to it. In fact, they should just rename all the Avengers and Thor movies to “The Misadventures of Loki.” Thor: The Dark World would be “Loki 3.”

The main reason to purchase this or any movie on DVD/ Blu-ray is for the bonus features and “Thor 2” does not disappoint. In this release you get:
