GoldieBlox is a fabulous book and project/kit set designed to get girls excited about engineering the solutions to problems. The idea is that girls tend to be more visual, and tend to love books more than construction sets early on. So developer Debbie Sterling created a set that ties a storybook with a strong female character who likes to invent things with a kit that lets them build a series of mechanical projects that help achieve goals for the friendly characters in the book.
