The MacBook Air is a nice, sleek-looking laptop. Protecting it without adding bulk and while preserving its look can be an impossible trade-off. The Moshi iGlaze covers let you protect your MacBook Air without adding bulk and destroying its minimalist lines.

Available for either 13″ or 11″ MacBook Airs, the iGlaze is a two-piece polycarbonate case that is thin yet still offers protection from the bumps and bruises that every laptop encounters. Similar hard cases are thicker and can be incredibly difficult to remove once they’re installed, but the iGlaze suffers neither of these drawbacks.

It’s so lightweight and thin that I could still slip my MacBook Air into a padded protective sleeve designed to hold it with no case at all. Installation was simple and took just a minute, but more importantly, so was removal. I admit to having pinched my fingers and cracked a case or two because they just don’t want to come off. If you want to take this one off, though, you can do it quickly and without risk of personal injury.

The iGlaze is available in white, black, or translucent, which really does make it look like there’s not a case on your laptop at all. I didn’t want my case to stand out, so I was given the translucent case to review. It’s very discreet and mimics the finish of your laptop in not just looks, but even feel, so you really don’t know it’s there at all.

At a retail price of $55 for the 11″ or $60 for the 13″, the Moshi iGlaze MacBook Air Case is a great way to keep your laptop safe without adding unnecessary bulk to its slim design.
