Two weeks ago, I had the great privilege of seeing The Avengers at its world premiere in Hollywood, and of attending the film’s press conferences the following day. As I’m forbidden from publishing my review of the movie until Monday (sneak preview: It’s great!), I can at least share with you the video I took of the press conferences and host a cool giveaway!
Each video lasts about a bit under a half hour. The first has Kevin Feige, the film’s producer and President of Production for Marvel Studios, as well as actors Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Mark Ruffalo, who of course play Nick Fury, Thor, Tony Stark/Iron Man, Captain America, and Bruce Banner/The Hulk. The second has Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, and Clark Gregg, who play Agent Maria Hill, Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Loki, and Agent Phil Coulson respectively. Oh, and some guy named “Joss Whedon” who, you may have heard, directed the movie. (Sadly, Scarlett Johansson, who plays Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow was unable to attend the press conferences.)

You should be warned that there are slight spoilers in both videos. No major plot points are revealed, but one not-previously-announced cameo is mentioned, as are some details about some scenes and characters. I don’t think the details are much more significant than what you’ve probably seen in the trailers, though. I can’t promise that watching the videos won’t in any way spoil the movie for you, but I would be very surprised if it did. Anyway, consider yourself warned.
