My weekend plans are simple: rest up as much as possible. Because, come Tuesday, I’ll be spending every spare minute I can find playing the conclusion to one of the most incredible game series of all time, Gears of War. If you haven’t played the first two games (though I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t have!), here’s a chance to get caught up on the story before the ending is written for you. Epic Games has produced a timeline that introduces the major players and events from the Pendulum Wars to Emergence Day to the sinking of Jacinto. Give it a quick read, then pick up a copy of Gears 3, put your phone on mute and sink into the couch for what will likely be a thrilling ending to the series. Delta Two, out.
