Just in time for the National Robotics Week, the VEX Robotics World Championships are coming to Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on April 14th to 16th. Everyone is invited and admission is free to the general public.
Nearly 10,000 students from middle schools, high schools, and universities from 16 countries will gather for 3 days of non-stop robotics competition. The Boy Scouts of America, Congressman Ralph Hall, and many others will be in attendance. The lovely and talented Kari Byron from The Discovery Channel’s MYTHBUSTERS series and host of The Science Channel’s hit show HEAD RUSH, Kari Byron, will serve as master of ceremonies to guide teams and spectators through the final award ceremony on the last day of competition.
