If you’ve been following the blog lately, you’ll know there’s been a tournament going on over at the website of Paul & Storm, geeky musicians (you can see them in many a J-Co concert video). Actually, it’s more of an election, really, to determine the Secretary of Geek Affairs – the person responsible for representing the geek community to the rest of the world.

And, as you may be aware, GeekDad put its considerable political weight (stop laughing) behind our man, Wil Wheaton.

Well, Paul & Storm announced the winner this week on their podcast. You’ll have to listen to get the full story, but let’s just say GeekDad knows how to pick a winner! Congratulations to Mr. Wil Wheaton, our new Secretary for Geek Affairs–click through for their full article and the full-size graphic of the department logo, which is all kinds of awesome.

Also, for a little extra coolness, P&S mention GeekDad’s participation in helping put Wil over the top to victory. Thanks, guys! We were just doing out part for geeks everywhere!
