Mario Stars in Poetic Origami

Geek Culture

Today, we can finally draw back the curtain on our first Origami Haiku review. These bite sized reviews take just five seconds to read but are written, folded and photographed by hand. They combine the Japanese art of origami with haiku poetry.

At Game People we are always on the look out for creative ways to engage with video games. We like to talk about how games made us feel rather than how good the graphics and sound were (don’t get me wrong we like those too!).

So, when Lottie Rose came to us with an idea for origami video game reviews, how could we refuse. Quite the opposite in fact – we set her to work on Mario Galaxy Wii.

Lottie contacted us after hearing Rebecca Maye’s video game review songs. Putting her paper craft and poetry skills to the video gaming test may not be an internet first, but we think they combine to make something really special.
