Children’s Books Online: The Rosetta Project

Lifehacker pointed to this cool project featuring hundreds of downloadable vintage children’s book – all free for the taking. The Rosetta Project looks like a very valiant all-volunteer effort with a ton of great available illustrated kid’s books. They even offer some titles with accompanying audio files, translations into other languages, and the ability to read the books in a clean interface on their web site or an option to just download the entire book. They have titles for kids of all ages, and I see a bunch of good ones for both of my sons (ages 5 and 11). Now this is my kind of "print on demand"!
