Top Shelf has a huge sale each year, with a bunch of comics on sale and over a hundred that are $3 or less. If you’ve been eyeing any of these titles, now’s a great time to pick them up! The sale lasts until September 27, so you’ve got about two weeks to make your selections. The full list is available on the Top Shelf website here, but here’s a sampling of what’s available.
March: Book One, by Congressman John Lewis, is 50% off, whether you choose the paperback or hardcover. So is Monster on the Hill, a tongue-in-cheek story about a sub-par town monster by Rob Harrell, the cartoonist behind Adam @ Home. Mark Russell and Shannon Wheeler take on the Bible in God Is Disappointed in You, a highly-abridged version with comics by Wheeler.
If you’re starting a comics collection for the wee ones, there’s a couple of series I recommend: Korgi, Johnny Boo, and Dragon Puncher are all on the five-buck list, while Pirate Penguin vs. Ninja Chicken is available for just $3.
