Found via The Raw Feed, and Endgadget, a restaurant in Germany that melds what is best from Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang, and Newegg’s automated warehouse. You order food via touchscreen at your table, and the plates arrive from the kitchen via little rail cars – and the system keeps track of ETA, and ingredient inventories. Someone here in the States has got to pick this up as a chain concept; my family would eat there every week!
