Second Issue of Gygax Magazine Hits Shelves This Week

Gygax Magazine, a tribute to the gaming magazines of yore (think Dragon and White Dwarf, circa 1985), releases its second issue this week with a stunning cover by fantasy artist extraordinaire Jeff Easley. Check it out in all its full-resolution glory.

GeekDad’s own Ethan Gilsdorf had an article in the first issue (which they kindly reprinted here on the blog) and the magazine was well received for its return to the old-school format of its forebears. Aside from Ethan’s article, my personal favorite was Cory Doctorow’s instructional on running RPGs for toddlers.

This latest issue’s table of contents shows that the publication isn’t afraid to tackle games outside of the D&D, though, with features on The One Ring, Savage Worlds, and Pathfinder:
