Last Thursday’s unexpected Nintendo Direct gave gamers an idea of what to expect in this, the second year of the Switch’s life cycle. What’s on the menu?
Well, continued support—in the form of DLC—for several big 2017 releases. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Pokkén Tournament DX, and even Super Mario Odyssey will see additional content in the near future.
The Switch’s string of stellar re-releases will also continue with a deluxe version of Hyrule Warriors, a funkier version of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and a new twist on the DS classic The World Ends With You all heading to the console this year. Plus, brand new adventures like Kirby Star Allies and Mario Tennis Aces (which promises to bring back RPG-style story mode of earlier Mario sports titles) will also be coming at you in 2018.
The entire video presentation is under 15 minutes, so why not check it out below for all this news and more?
