It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for zombies. But, hey, apparently so are lots of other gamers. There are tons of zombie-themed games (Last Night on Earth was one of my first and still one of my favorites) and more coming all the time. A Small Taste of D&D – Attack Wing

If you’ve been waiting for a tabletop aerial combat game that includes more shimmering scales and fewer S-foils — more actual fire power than, you know, “firepower” — you’ll probably be interested in WizKids’ Dungeons & Dragons – Attack Wing, set for release next month. I had a chance to play a short demo at this year’s Gen Con, and it sure seems like fun.

Die Fighter: A Great New Way to Play Space Cadets: Dice Duel

One of my favorite games from last year’s Gen Con was Space Cadets: Dice Duel, a real-time team-vs.-team shootout between two spaceships. You’re moving your ship around the board, loading torpedoes, energizing shields, setting target locks and jamming your opponent’s locks… all while rolling dice frantically. This year at Gen Con, Stronghold Games released an expansion: Die Fighter.
