One of our biggest responsibilities here at GeekMom and GeekDad is bringing new products, apps, events, and experiences to the attention of our readership. As such, we enjoy receiving pitches from PR and marketing professionals. However, because we receive hundreds of pitches every week, we cannot respond individually to every pitch that comes in.
If you send your pitch to our publisher, Ken Denmead, it will be seen by the Editors and Core Contributors of both blogs, and evaluated for applicability and interest (please do not pitch individual contributors unless you have a pre-existing relationship with them; it complicates our community process if multiple people receive the same pitch). Or, if you like, you can specify whether you’d like it directed an one of the two blogs specifically, though we encourage crossover. If one of our members is interested and wants to pursue evaluation of the item for possible posting on GeekMom and GeekDad, they will contact you directly.
If you are offering a giveaway of your product, that’s cool. We like giving things away to our readership. However, we prefer any giveaway items will be shipped directly by the offering party to the winners, upon completion of the entry period.
