Pop-Up Magazine Escape Issue

Pop-Up Magazine is back this month with its first themed tour: The Escape Issue. I’ve written about Pop-Up Magazine before; it calls itself a live magazine, with essays, photography, video, and music, and I’ve enjoyed attending a few shows here in Portland.

This latest issue is all about escape. As they put it: “Together, we’ll learn what it’s like to spend a decade as a fugitive, take a vacation without leaving the house, break free of our online identities, and much, much more.” Unfortunately, this issue isn’t coming to Portland so I won’t get a chance to see it myself, but if you’re in one of the listed cities, I highly encourage you to attend if you’re able!

The San Francisco show is already sold out, but there are still tickets available for the following events:

  • 9/21: Oakland
  • 9/23: San Diego
  • 9/26: Los Angeles
  • 9/28: Vancouver
  • 10/7: Washington, D.C.
  • 10/10: New York City
  • 10/12: Chicago
