Ravensburger announced today the November release of Minecraft: Builders and Biomes, a tabletop version of the classic building video game.

We’re just getting the first details on the game now, but according to the press release, in “Minecraft: Builders & Biomes players explore the Overworld, build structures, and mine resources, earning points for structures and the largest connected biomes of forest, desert, mountain, or snowy tundra spaces on their player boards.”

The competitive game has players competing with each other but also having to deal with “[f]amiliar foes like Endermen, Creepers, and other mobs” that “need to be defeated using weapons collected from the board.”

The cool factor of the game comes in the form of the resource cube, which must be mined by players for resources, similar to the digital game.

Minecraft: Builders & Biomes is a game for two to four players ages ten and up and takes 30-60
minutes to play. It will be on store shelves by mid-November but can be pre-ordered from Amazon now.
