Review and Giveaway: How JJ Suspenders Helped This Geek Get Chic

When we we were first approached by the fine folks at JJ Suspenders, I admit to being skeptical. Sure, suspenders are associated with geekiness, but these weren’t “geeky” suspenders. Not even a little. These were fashionable, stylish suspenders.

Seriously.

I wish I took better photos.

The red pair over there is the Fine Wine – not the pair I originally wanted, but that one was sold out. No matter, because the Fine Wine match several of my suits perfectly (including my Captain America suit).

I particularly like how JJ Suspenders sets include both traditional button attachments as well as clips, for modern pants.

I wore the gray Cobblestone Cruisers into the city for a press event and was given constant compliments.  Including random people on the street. That does not happen in New York City.

My stylish hat and sidekick were pretty snazzy too.

Suspenders are more than a style statement. As someone working on weight loss (20 lbs down!), most of my belts don’t quite fit me anymore. I could keep adding holes to them… or I could put on suspenders. The latter is less time consuming.

Honestly, it’s gotten to the point where I would rather wear suspenders, period. Like right now. I’m hanging out in a shirt, board shorts… and an old pair of suspenders from my late grandfather. Because stylish comfort is timeless.

Stylish comfort also isn’t cheap. Not everyone is a reviewer, so putting down $50-$90 on something to hold your pants up isn’t always doable. The thing is, JJ Suspenders gets that. That’s why they’re doing a giveaway.

Just put your information in below and you’ll have a chance to win a pair of the JJ Suspenders of your choice. Contestants must live in North America. Contest ends 5/31/19 at 12 AM ET.

I would also suggest that fashion lovers follow their fun Inastagram.

Overall, I’m quite happy with my two pairs and am planning on grabbing some more. The leather ones in particular are calling my name.

Note: JJ Suspenders sent me two free pairs. They’re very supportive.
