My Thoughts
As a parent of an eight-year-old boy, I wish I’d had access to this product sooner. My son grew up watching PBS (as I did) and was a big fan of shows like Super Why? and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. This pad and DVD player would have been great for him and for me because I would not have had to worry about monitoring his use of YouTube, which is a dark place for many children if left to their own devices. Each of these products is a great and affordable choice for families with young children at $69.00 for the tablet, and $87.99 for the DVD player/tablet. At those prices, even if you have multiple children, buying several of these may save your sanity while increasing your children’s vocabulary and reading comprehension. The grip that comes with the playtime tablet is one of the best-designed and most comfortable grips I have seen on any tablet at any price. It may also extend the life of the tablet, as your child will most likely drop it several times. Now for that price, these are not the two fastest tablets you will see and the apps can be a bit slow at times, but of course you are not buying an iPad Pro. So if you are a parent that is in the market for a piece of educational smart devices for your toddler to pre-teen this may be a good purchase. If your children are PBS kids themselves and enjoy the many shows and characters this is a sure-fire purchase. So go out and grab one; those long car trip may just become more manageable.

Looks interesting. I think this will be a good idea to get once my youngest turns 2.
DVD players are essential for children, especially when driving to travel, long trips, if children can watch DVDs in the back seat quietly, it can reduce the parents’ anxiety, if it is two Children, you can also buy a dual-screen DVD player, lets your kids share the same movie or watch 2 different movies simultaneously, which can easily meet the needs of different children.
Are the pre-loaded games, songs, and videos accessible while traveling without WiFi?
Some are and some are not depending on whether it needs to stream the info
