A new edition of Love Letter is coming soon. The game adds two new roles—the Chancellor and the Spy—and now allows up to six players. You can pre-order it now from the Z-Man website. There’s no indication on the site, even after you place your order (which I know because I did), as to when it will ship.
Machi Koro is joining the “legacy” game craze with a game described on the site thusly: “We can’t say much, but we can tell you this: Everything will change, and change again across this 10 game narrative arc!” The only real detail is that it will be released “spring 2019.”
Renegade Studios is taking pre-orders for their upcoming Bubble Tea, a dice and card game with delightful artwork.
German company Pegasus Spiele has announced Nobjects, an interesting twist on Pictionary, where all of the drawing happens on a blank flat surface like a table, so team members have to guess what is being “drawn” by just watching the player’s hand movements.
IDW will be releasing Tonari, a tile-placement game from designers Bruno Faidutti and Alex Randolph with art by Kwanchai Moriya. The game is due to be released in August.
