The first big geek culture convention of 2019 kicks off this weekend when Wizard World rolls into New Orleans from Friday, January 4 through Sunday, January 6. The three-day event features a number of celebrity, creator, artist, and cosplay guests, including but not limited to Jason Momoa, Mads Mikkelsen, cast members of The Vampire Diaries, cast members of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, Mike Colter and Simone Missick from Luke Cage, cast members from iZombie, AJ and Aly Michalka, author Diana Gabaldon and cast members of Outlander, and many more.
In addition to Q&As and meet & greets, the convention features a number of panels and workshops, cosplay—including the costume contest on Saturday evening, gaming, and more. Please note that some workshops and panels require an additional ticket, ranging from $20 to $250, which can be purchased online.
