Cooler Master MH751 Gaming Headset Review

The Cooler Master MH-751

Cooler Master looks to add a new headset with higher quality sound and a lighter feel with the MH751 headset.

What is it?

The Cooler Master MH751 is a gaming headset for both PC and Console users. The headset uses the traditional 3.5mm headphone jacks that we are accustomed to; gamers looking for a USB connection can purchase the brother of the MH751, the MH752. Outside of the connection system, both headsets offer the same build quality and sound effectiveness with 40mm Neodymium drivers and soft synthetic earpieces. The MH751 also has an effective omnidirectional boom mike so that the other players can hear you loud and clear.

Thoughts and Recommendation

Cooler Master has put out a steady stream of solid computer and gaming peripherals this year and the MH751 is no exception to that list. Taking it out of the box I noticed that it was a no-frills solid gaming headset. I was able to plug it into my PS4 Controller without any difficulty and fired up my new copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 to give it a whirl. The MH751 did a great job of translating both the atmospherics and sound in the game. Later in the evening, I decided to test the boom mic out while playing COD Black Ops 4 and my friends and teammates could hear me both loudly and clearly. The feel and weight of the MH751 were very comfortable and I never felt any head pressure or fatigue. After four hours of gaming, my experience with the MH751 was a truly satisfying one that I can recommend to any avid or even part-time player.

You can pick up a Cooler Master MH751 on Amazon for $79.99 which is a great price for such a high-end headset.

A demo product of the Cooler Master MH751 was made available by Cooler Master.
