Amber AI-Powered Smart Storage Device Give-Away

I often tell my students that the best thing about digital photography is that pictures are free, but the worst thing about digital photography is that pictures are free. For a while, we all just bought ever-larger hard drives. But then, cloud storage came along, and all was good in the world because we could store terabytes of stuff and access it anywhere… until we realized that all of that “free” cloud storage came with a price, after all. But who needs privacy anyway?

The Amber AI-Powered Smart Storage Device is a nice compromise. The device stores all of your files locally, on a network-connected hard drive that doesn’t look like a hard drive. But it also makes your files accessible online, giving you the best of both worlds: you have the security of local storage with the convenience of the cloud.

How much does such a thing cost? Well, for you, our GeekDad readers, possibly nothing, since we’re happy to announce that we are partnering with Amber to give away five of these devices. Just fill out the form below to be entered in our drawing, and good luck!
