Bodaciously Awesome Family Show: ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’

I think we first saw the trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom while watching Ready Player One. About halfway through it my 11-year old looked at me and said “Are they serious? This looks awful.” He wasn’t wrong. It did look bad. Movie marketing is a tricky business though (heck, the early trailers for Ready Player One were pretty bad, but is was a movie he enjoyed).

When Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom came out… I still couldn’t talk him into going. The trailers completely turned him off (even though he greatly enjoyed the first movie in the reboot series). Instead, I went with the wife (who had not seen the last movie) – and not the kid. So, we decided to have a slightly different type of Podcast as well. The wife joins this week as the kid asks us questions about the movie. (Mostly we could answer them. But, no one really knows why that dinosaur was on the roof…)

Adam DiMuzio

Adam and his sons (Anthony and Zachary) host the Bodaciously Awesome Family Show. A podcast dedicated to helping maximize their kids experiences, and for kids to reap the fun. Right now they are likely playing a game, watching a movie or mindlessly arguing over which of us is more awesome.
