As someone who has been listening to and loving Al’s music since high school, this is just awesome. I remember seeing Al live at the Circle Star in the 1980s, and even lip-syncing his songs for school events. This honor has been well and truly earned by one of the most talented, hard working, and enduring musicians of our times. I only wish I could be there to see it. Congrats, Al!
