Bodaciously Awesome Family Show: Is EPCOT Center for kids?

Disney’s EPCOT Center

Living in Florida I often get a singular question from friends and family visiting Walt Disney World: Will my kids like EPCOT? For the most part, I get it. People ask the question because they either remember the history-driven them park their parents took them to in the late 80s, or just think of it as a bar with a $100 cover charge as you drink around the world.

The truth is my kids love it. Obviously, there are rides – and they enjoy those. But, they also like the “World’s Fair” aspect to it as well (the shows, movies, food, etc.). However, I needed to be sure they liked it. So, as we continued our tour through Florida Theme Parks (you can listen to another about the Magic Kingdom here or Animal Kingdom here) I made them think about it. Was there enough Magic in EPCOT to enthrall both an 11 year old and a 6 year old? Is it a park they’d want to come back to?
