There’s been lots of build-up in recent weeks towards Games Workshop’s Age of Sigmar second edition. Despite the wailing and gnashing of teeth that greeted the demise of Warhammer Fantasy Battle, the modern incarnation of the game has gone from strength to strength. With the new Soul Wars core set, the renaissance looks set to continue.
On the Warhammer Community website, GW has released all the details of the new set, and it looks incredible. Amazing minis, and a massive 320-page hardback book. The new set promises huge amounts of new lore, as the designers try to add meat to the bones of their setting. Much as it did last year, with the release of a new Warhammer 40,000, Games Workshop has gone all out to make sure that their game is at the pinnacle of fantasy wargaming.
