A Hellboy board game with expansion minifigs, what’s not to like?
This Kickstarter campaign, proposed by Mantic Games, will end on Friday, May 25, 15:00 AST. It has already reached 11,000 supporters and a whopping $1,495,381 USD (and counting!) from its original $134,710 USD goal.
Of course, all early bird prices are completely sold out, so here are a few suggestions.
1. Wait for the new expansions
The still available Agent Pledge includes the Conqueror Worm Expansion, BPRD Archives Expansion, Bonus Minions, Kickstarter Exclusive Alternate Hellboy, digital edition of Seed of Destruction graphic novel, and other applicable stretch goals.
The Hellboy in Mexico expansion
This expansion includes two new scenarios, four new playable heroes, new items, five new types of enemy, a terrifying new boss, new Mexico-themed tiles and new Deck of Doom cards.

2. Revisit your game scenarios with the Omnibus new collection
Since 1994, there had never been a complete, chronological collection of the Hellboy-verse. Starting with Hellboy: Seed of Destruction, these six volumes will include every Hellboy story written and illustrated by Mignola and The Wild Hunt storyline written by Mignola and illustrated by Duncan Fegredo.
Dark Horse will also publish two volumes of Hellboy: The Complete Short Stories featuring stories illustrated by artists including Richard Corben, Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon.
Each of the paperback books will feature new covers by Mignola and Eisner award-winning colorist Dave Stewart.
The new Hellboy film by Neil Marshall is currently in pre-production, starring David Harbour, Sasha Lane, Ian McShane, Penelope Mitchell, and Milla Jovovich, and it will be based on the Mignola-Fregedo storyline.
The first omnibus volume is on sale since May 9, 2018.
