This week, BOOM! Studios is running a week-long “KaBOOM Summer Blast,” highlighting middle grade comics from its KaBOOM! imprint. (Visit the BOOM! website for more.) GeekDad is pleased to share a look at the first issue of RuinWorld. Pogo the pig and Rex the … well, I think he’s a fox, but perhaps he’s a red panda? … at any rate, this odd couple is on a quest, and in this excerpt it doesn’t look like they’re getting along too well. They’re searching for something, and it looks like Pogo is about to make a mistake. Judging by the huge tentacles on the cover (above), I’m guessing things are about to get a lot more exciting.
