HyperX returns with a companion to the Elite RGB keyboard, the Pulsefire RGB Mouse!
Recently I reviewed the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB keyboard, which is a fabulous gamer-quality piece of equipment. Now they are providing the mouse companion to the Alloy Elite, the Pulsefire RGB mouse.

Thoughts
Recently I reviewed the HyperX Pulsefire FPS Mouse and was very interested in what the Pulsefire Surge RGB had to offer. The new Pulsefire Surge has many of the great attributes offered with the previous mouse, with the added integration of RGB lighting. The look and feel are once again simple and elegant, having a basic black, soft rubber feel and a solid weight (that cannot be adjusted).
The RGB lighting looks great and does not overpower the simplicity of the mouse. HyperX’s Ingenuity software that was previously used on the Alloy Elite RGB Keyboard, which allows the user to use pre-set color schemes for general and game specific use, can be used in conjunction with the Pulsefire Surge mouse. Having my entire set of peripherals share a cool scheme is pretty great.
Outside of the looks, the mouse is an accurate workhorse. I used it in basic desktop apps as well as trying out with the new Far Cry 5. The combination of the Alloy Elite keyboard and the Pulsefire Surge Mouse was a wonderful mix of reliability and accuracy. My gameplay style involves a lot of long-distance sniping, so having a high DPI, fast, and accurate mouse is crucial.
There have been some problems posted by other users about the right and left buttons touching with the claw grip, but I have not experienced this with my mouse. That being said, I recommend the HyperX Pulsefire RGB for it’s solid, strong, simple, and accurate ability to perform all the tasks a PC and Mac user could ask for and then some
