One of the greatest things about doing this Podcast with the kids is giving them a cinematic education. What are some of my favorite movies and can I relive my childhood through them? Not just in series continuations (like Star Wars: The Last Jedi) but new classics that they need to see to be well-rounded film geeks.
Today’s show looks at a movie that is on my Top 5 list of all time: Raiders of the Lost Ark. I was skeptical showing my older son this movie. Would he like it? Would he find it cheesy? Would he think it moves too slow? Film pacing has changed a lot in 35+ years – would he appreciate this classic as he should?
