The exciting news from Paizo just keeps coming. With the shocking reveal of a Pathfinder Second Edition, we may have all forgotten about the Pathfinder: Kingmaker isometric party-based computer RPG in development.
But Owlcat games just nabbed back some of the limelight by releasing a new trailer for Pathfinder: Kingmaker, a trailer that is leaving me eager for more. This thing looks awesome!
I got a chance to play a very early version of the game at PaizoCon 2017, and hope to get to see it again this May at PaizoCon 2018. Pathfinder: Kingmaker was already pretty spectacular a year ago—this trailer just makes me that much more excited. This looks like a deep CRPG that’s staying true to Pathfinder and everything I love about the game.
With “fourteen classes, dozens of archetypes, more than a thousand spells and abilities” as well as ten potential companions, no two adventures will be the same. When I got my hands on Pathfinder: Kingmaker at PaizoCon, character creation looked as extensive and customizable as the tabletop version.
