I’m a little reticent to point out that Jeff Foxworthy has a card game out. It’s a Cards Against Humanity clone (which is to say it’s a ripoff of Apples to Apples) where someone supplies a setup and everyone else plays their best punch line card. He has also apparently trademarked the line “You can pick your nose, but you can’t pick your family™,” which is crazy because that joke has been around forever. Anyway, Relative Insanity is available now.
Speaking of Apples to Apples, the game is getting a very special Fifteenth Appleversary Edition. (FIFTEEN!!!) The special edition will have fancy, gold scoring tokens, a limited edition, black and gold look to the box and all the cards, and will have new content, as well.

Asmodee previewed another case in the Carlton House and Queen’s Park expansion for Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective game. In The Murderer Lives at Number 221, you and your detective friends will have a more in-depth case that will take you beyond London to prove Holmes’ innocence!
IDW Games will be releasing a Sonic the Hedgehog–themed game called Crash Course. The game will take place in Green Hill and players will race to collect Chaos Emeralds with prepainted minis. Look for it on July 25th.
Renegade has a couple of games that should be out next week. One of our favorite games, Clank! (read our review) gets another expansion. This one is called The Mummy’s Curse and please look for a review from Jonathan Liu very soon. The second is a fast-paced, backstabbing, pirate adventure called Sabordage. I’ll be reviewing that one next week.
CMON revealed Hunter minis for the upcoming Kickstarter, Zombicide: Invader. This new breed of Xenos is sure to give you nightmares!
My group still feels like we are barely scratching the surface of everything that Rising Sun has to offer, but that won’t stop an expansion from hitting local shelves. Dynasty Invasion will have two new clans (Moon and Sun, at opposite ends of the honor spectrum), seven Lucky Gods, and 15 Season cards. The Kickstarter add-on becomes available to everyone else on March 30.
Also on shelves next week will be the fun small game, Pocket Mars, where players try to colonize the red planet; Outpost: Amazon, a challenging cooperative survival card game (read our review of Outpost: Siberia); and Nut So Fast, a fun family game from Smirk and Dagger’s new family-oriented imprint, Smirk and Laughter.
