Unholster your credit card and ready that refresh button. This Friday, March 9, a very special, very limited edition product will be made available for Transformers fans. Hasbro Studios Presents ’80s TV Classics: Music from The Transformers is a 40-track collection picked straight from the atmospheric score of our shared Generation I childhood. Encompassing 45 minutes of previously unreleased music by composers Robert J. Walsh, Johnny Douglas, Anne Bryant, and Ford Kinder, the album draws from seasons 1-3 of the original animated series.

The good news is that Music from The Transformers will be available for $18.99 I’ve just been informed that “Prices may vary by retailer,” with Optimus Prime and Megatron colorways available through EnjoyTheRideRecords.com and a Bumblebee variant exclusively through ThinkGeek.com. The bad news? There are only 2000 copies in total.

Will I be able to snag one? Probably not. Will I try anyway? Of course! Because music is the right of all sentient beings.
