Ash vs Evil Dead returns to thrill and chill for its third season, and GeekDad was able to sit down and talk with several of the show’s stars. In this edition, we talk with Dana DeLorenzo who previously worked on Harold and Kumar’s 3D Christmas and The Mad Ones. She plays Kelly Maxwell. Dana Discusses her enthusiasm for season 3 and how she approaches her character now. She also talks about the love she has for the fans and what it was like working with childhood idol Lucy Lawless.
Plot Summary
Since destroying the Deadites and becoming the Elk Grove town hero, Ash has been preparing for his next move and slashing prices in retail… or so he thought. In season 3, Ash’s parenting skills are put to the test after he discovers he has a long-lost daughter, but that’s not the only surprise coming his way. Evil has taken a new form, and it is back to annihilate Ash and those closest to him.
Cast
The cast is once again led by Bruce Campbell in the role of Ash Williams; he is complemented by Lucy Lawless as Ruby, Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar, and Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell. Newcomer Arielle Carver-O’Neill joins as Brandy Barr, Ash’s long-lost daughter, along with Lindsay Farris as Dalton, leader of the Knights of Sumeria. Lee Majors returns as Brock Williams, Ash’s father.

Production
The same production team that has worked on the series since its inception in the ’80s returns with the addition of some new faces. Sam Raimi serves as Executive Producer with Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, Ivan Raimi, and Rick Jacobson. Mark Verheiden serves as Executive Producer/Showrunner.
