‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Trailer Is All the ’80s Kid Thrillers Combined

Geek Culture

This trailer for Stranger Things season 2 hit today, and it’s everything any of us could have hoped for. It’s like they took the awesome homages and visual references to the ’80s from season 1, and turned them up to 11 (pun intended).

And it gets triple bonus points for major Sean Astin action. If Martha Plimpton or Jonathan Ke Quan show up, we can all squee. Check out the new trailer:

From the Netflix press description: “Stranger Things 2: It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”

  1. You just made me SOOO happy! Thanks! I was bummed when I beat the Stranger Things game this week and I only got an underwhelming 20 second clip. I hope season 2 can live up to the hype.
