Rock and Shock Festival Coming October 13th-15th

Rock And Shock  October 13th

For over a decade, The Rock and Shock Music and Horror Film Festival has chilled and thrilled New Englanders during the Halloween season. The three days of “Monsters, Music, and Mayhem” is being held at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, as well as The Palladium concert venue on October 13-15, 2017. Over the years, acts like Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Danzig, Gwar, Type O Negative, and many others have highlighted the music stage. Stars such as George Romero, Robert Englund, and Roddy Piper have met thousands of fans in the guest area. Dozens of vendors selling unique horror memorabilia and media are also on hand to accentuate your Halloween experience.

Friday nights acts include industrial rock legends Ministry and several other bands.

For non-musical fans, the DCU center will be filled with vendors and legendary horror stars like Kane Hodder (Jason in Halloween VII-X), Derek Meyers (Friday the 13th, Sleepy Hollow, The Hills Have Eyes 2), Tom Savini (Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, From Dusk ’til Dawn), and James Remar (Dexter, The Warriors, Django Unchained, 48 hrs). There are dozens of more stars available and more being added daily.

There will also be a special photo opportunity with Kane Hodder in the Jason Costume from Friday the 13th VII with makeup legend and director John Carl Buechler doing the makeup as well as being on hand for a photo!

I have attended Rock and Shock for the last decade and look forward to doing so for many years to come. Even though it may be very spooky, there are still art tables and events for the little goblins in your home. Between the music, vendors, movies, panels, events, and stars, there is a holiday treat for every member of the family to enjoy in the Pre-Halloween festivities. You can buy tickets for individual days and concerts as well as purchasing packages that include concerts and convention events here. I recommend Rock and Shock if you are looking for a wonderful fall festival.
