Kickstarter Tabletop Alert! ‘Starfinder’ Masterclass Miniatures

Samples of painted resins by Studio Giraldez. Resin masterclass models supplied unpainted.

I’ve been praising the merits of the Starfinder Roleplaying Game since its release at GenCon. The game is awesome, and I’ve been enjoying the Roll For Combat actual play Starfinder podcast. What I’m lacking in my Starfinder gaming, however, is some quality science-fantasy miniatures. Enter the Ninja Division, Starfinder Masterclass Miniatures Kickstarter! There are just a couple days left, so if you want these awesome 28mm Starfinder minis, you better jump on over to the Kickstarter.

The rewards start with a $100 Adventure level that gets you everything in the image below as well as all unlocked freebies.  Many of the models are Kickstarter exclusives, including Candy and Cola in Starfinder garb, and the six legacy races as depicted in the Starfinder Core Rulebook.

At the $100 Adventure level you get all of this, as well as all unlocked freebies.

For this level, you get Six Hero Slots and four Encounter Pack Slots. Each hero slot allows you to pick one of the awesome heroes from a selection of more than 30 options, and each Encounter Pack Slot lets you pick a group of four to five figures appropriate for an encounter. Higher pledges have Creature Slots and Fleet Slots for obtaining starship combat miniatures.

There are currently nine freebie models that will be added to the Adventure and Campaign level rewards without costing you any of your slots. Over five times funded at more than $260,000 with nearly 1500 backers, I expect more stretch goals to be unlocked.

If you’re playing Starfinder and you’re as fond of miniatures as I am, then you should go check out the Ninja Division Starfinder Masterclass Miniatures Kickstarter. You only have a couple days to get in and lock down your pledge… make it so.
