I first wrote about Trollhunters (the Netflix/Dreamworks Animation show from Guillermo del Toro) after last year’s New York Comic-Con, where it premiered. The first season has been on Netflix for a while now, but I must admit, my kids only recently discovered it. Nevertheless. they were quickly entranced and have been in love with it ever since.
I first saw Funko’s line of Trollhunters toys earlier this year at Toy Fair, and I was immediately smitten. The sculpts were intricately detailed, impressive, and SPOT ON to the character designs from the show. With the Trollhunters toys, Funko has seriously upped their game.

After several months waiting, the Pop! figures, Mystery Minis, and plush figures recently (finally!) hit the market. And let me tell you, these things are just as impressive in person as the prototypes were behind glass at Toy Fair. The Pop!s and Mystery Minis are incredibly detailed, and the Mystery Minis especially look like they just leapt off the TV screen. Funko has nailed the likenesses in these figures.
