I hate shoe shopping. I consider it to be one of the banes of my life, beaten only by shopping for bras and jeans. Yet the new Po-Zu Star Wars range is rapidly making me as shoe obsessed as Carrie Bradshaw.
Po-Zu is not new to the Star Wars universe. The company’s dark brown Piper V boots were the exact ones as worn by Rey in The Force Awakens, and as a proud owner of a pair, I can testify to their extreme comfort. This year, however, the company has produced the Po-Zu Star Wars range—a full line of official Star Wars-branded shoes for men, women, and children—and I can honestly say that I want the lot.
In addition to looking and feeling amazing, Po-Zu is rated the most ethical shoe company by The Good Shopping Guide and many of their shoes and boots are vegan and leather-free. All their designs are sustainably produced in small factories, so you can feel good about buying them too.
Women’s Range
The Po-Zu Star Wars range for women consists of 11 shoes and boots inspired by Rey, Chewbacca, Stormtroopers, BB-8, and the Resistance. Each of the designs comes with a removable “foot mattress” made of natural latex and cork which molds to the shape of your foot but which can be removed to allow orthotics placement. The soles of all designs are stitched onto the shoe making them glue-less.
Rey Boot
The Rey Boot comes in brown and grey.
The brown edition is almost identical to the boot worn by Rey in The Force Awakens except for a small Resistance logo on the side. They are made of wool tweed, cork, wool felt, coconut husk, eco-microfibre, and natural latex, and are vegetarian.
The grey edition is a leather version of the same design and is made from chrome-free leather, wool tweed, wool felt, eco-microfibre, coconut husk, and natural latex.

Rey Hi-Boot
The Rey Hi-Boot is inspired by Rey’s new boots as seen in The Last Jedi. They are made from chrome-free leather, eco-microfibre, coconut husk and natural latex. These boots are currently on pre-order and are due to be available in November 2017.

Women’s High-Top Sneakers
The high-top Resistance sneakers come in off-white, red, black, and a limited edition silver of which only 1000 pairs will be manufactured, each with a unique number stamped on the tongue lining. A BB-8 version is also available in bright orange. All these sneakers are fully vegan.
The off-white, red, black, and BB-8 designs are made with organic cotton canvas, eco-microfibre, natural latex, and cork. The limited edition silver design is made from Pinnatex—a “pineapple leaf leather” mixed with silver woven linen—along with eco-microfibre, natural latex, and cork.

Children’s Range
The Po-Zu Star Wars range for children consists of seven shoes and boots inspired by BB-8, the Resistance, stormtroopers, Rey, and Chewie. The shoes are identical to their adult counterparts except for the fastening of the Rey boots. The children’s version of these features an adjustable elastic cord at the back instead of the thin laces seen on the adult version to make it easier to fasten them.
Sizes begin at EUR 30/UK 12/USA 12.5 and go to EUR 35/UK 3/USA 3.5.
