To celebrate this coming weekend’s re-release of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind on big screens throughout the US on September 24th (dubbed), 25th (subtitled), and 27th (dubbed), GeekDad is offering four of our readers the chance to win a code redeemable for one pair of (i.e. two) tickets to the film at your favorite Fathom Events participating theater. Simply follow the instructions in the box below–good luck!

The Fine Print:
- Giveaway prize must be redeemed at a Fathom Events-participating theater. Before entering, I recommend you check Fathom’s website to see if there’s a participating theater near you.
- Giveaway winners will be selected on Thursday, September 21st, 2017 and notified via an email from GKIDS Films. Winners will need to respond with what date and Fathom Events-participating theater for which they want the tickets.
- Giveaway winners (of which there will be four total) will each receive one code redeemable through the Fathom Events website for purchasing two tickets to Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

Ponyo was the first with many to follow!
I don’t have kids, but the first Miyazaki film I ever saw was Spirited Away on VHS. That opened my world to anime and I haven’t stopped watching since!
Kiki delivery service
I don’t have kids, but I would probably share with them first a more innocent and warmhearted one, like Kiki’s Delivery Service or Totoro. The deeper and/or sadder ones come later!
My first was Princess Mononoke, and I became quickly addicted!
Totoro was first for my girls, but Nausicaa is now their favorite.
If I had kids, I’d probably share with them the Kiki’s Delivery Service initially as its more simple and uplifting to children compared to some of Miyazaki’s other films.
I don’t have kids, but when I do, I’ll show them Totoro first more than likely. Also, Nausicaa is my friend’s favorite and his birthday is the 24th, so I hope to win this as a gift for him! Thanks!
