GeekDad Plays ‘Telestrations’ with Gen Con

When I go to Gen Con, I spend a lot of time walking from booth to booth, chatting with people. I go home and I have notes from those visits, sometimes a few business cards, but nothing to really remember the people I met with. This year, I thought I’d bring a sketch pad and a Sharpie and ask the people I met with to play Telestrations with me.

The award-winning game, if you’re unfamiliar with it, asks one player to write a word and the next player to draw the word, and so on. It’s like the telephone game, but with horrible stick figures (at least when I play). I was pleased that everyone was excited to play and the outcome is fantastic! Plus, I have a great, one-of-a-kind souvenir from Gen Con 5o:
