Re-Roll: The Week’s Tabletop Game News, Special Gen Con Edition 3

Featured Re-Roll Tabletop Games

These are the last glimpses of Gen Con for me. I have a long drive home and there’s an eclipse to see. But one last day of running into friends, playing games and seeing new and wonderful things. We’ll be sure to fill you in with our favorite things we saw during the best four days in gaming, but I can tell you it’s going to be tough to narrow it down! Until then, here are a few tidbits we picked up and some photos from what we saw:

  • Jamey Stegmaier had a good meeting on Saturday and he learned that chances are very good that both Charterstone and the next Scythe expansion, The Wind Gambit, will be arriving in stores just before Thanksgiving, sooner than anticipated!
  • Everything Epic, who are bringing you Big Trouble in Little China: The Game, announced they are going to be bringing Rambo, the Board Game to tables soon. The game will follow John Rambo from youth to older age and promises action-packed excitement!
  • One of the games that all of the GeekDads had a chance to demo and really enjoy was Decrypto, from Le Scorpion Masqué (and distributed by Iello). We have some images below, but it’s a fiendishly clever word game that uses a red filter to send scrambled messages. We loved it!
