Re-Roll: The Week’s Tabletop Game News, Special Gen Con Edition

The first day of Gen Con is behind us and what an enjoyable time it was. Sure there were a lot of people and everyone is a little tired this morning, but there was so much to see and do. There were a few announcements and some rumors.

Finally, we’re all a bit tired. I’m going to let the pictures do the rest of the talking:

Wyrmwood debuted their game table.
It was gorgeous.
The tokens for 'Dicey Peaks' are great.
The next game in Calliope's Titan Series is 'Ancestree' by Eric M. Lang.
Also on the way to Titan are 'Shutter Bug' by Mike Elliott ...
... a game about photographing mythological creatures ...
... and 'Capital City' by Hames Ernest.
Ogre is getting a video game.
'Pandemic Legacy' had a nicely themed booth.
Asmodee also has a 'Breaking Bad' game on the way.
People played a large sized 'Captain Sonar'.
And tried not to be sunk.
Asmodee had plenty of clever and themed booths to demo games.
'Kingdomino' allowed people to sit in a luxurious throne.
'Shark Island' could be demoed on a beach (in Indiana).
'Head of Mousehold' from Foxmind is an enjoyable worker placement/bluffing game.
And has cute meeples.
Foxmind also had 'Museum Heist,' a neat bluffing movement game ...
... and a couple dice games, 'Sports Dice: Baseball' and ...
'Brew Dice,' a game you can play without setting your beer down.
A very early look at modiphius' 'Fallout' game.
The oversized 'Flick 'Em Up' game.
Renegade Games Studio announced 'Clank! In Space.' It immediately sold out. More on the way today!
'Meeple Circus' from Matagot. A great meeple stacking game.
It has lots of ways to score your meeple stacking.
An oversized 'Santorini' game.
We played lots of games at our Game with GeekDad event. Everyone had a fun time.
Especially those who won 'Bob Ross: Art of Chill' game. (Yes, we made them where Bob Ross wigs.)
And we played 'Doctor Panic' in scrubs again.
