Wanted Earth, a tabletop miniatures game about heroes battling invading aliens, has relaunched on Kickstarter today. I reviewed the game during the initial crowdfunding attempt back in May, but the campaign didn’t look like it would fund and Shadow Squirrel Games decided to cancel it so they could work on lowering the price and the funding goal.
Looks like they’ve succeeded: the new funding goal is $49k, half of the original, and the price for the base game has dropped from $89 to $69. One of the things they’ve dropped is the plastic slider cases for the player characters, which I had mentioned were cool but seemed unnecessary. They’ve also added both solo rules and co-op rules, making the game even more flexible than before.
