This DIY Wonder Woman Slime Is Worthy of an Amazon Princess

DIY Featured GeekMom

Homemade slime is still as popular as ever, thanks to simple recipes found easily online. Each batch can be personalized to the maker’s mood, from galaxy slime to butter slime (that’s really a thing) to fluffy slime. But when you’re feeling like an Amazon Princess—and when aren’t you?—make this DIY Wonder Woman slime to save your kids from boredom.

What You Need

  • Disposable bowl
  • Wooden craft stick
  • One bottle of clear glue
  • Contact solution
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Yellow food coloring
  • Red star sequins or glitter
  • Fine gold glitter

Get Started!

Begin by pouring the clear glue into the bowl. Fill the glue bottle halfway with warm water, give it a shake, and pour it into the bowl as well.

Use the craft stick to stir the glue and water mixture until blended.

Next, add the yellow food coloring and stir until well-blended, making a golden yellow color.

Add the baking soda and mix well.

Slowly add the contact solution into the mixture, stirring well each time. The consistency should change from liquid to sticky solid the more solution you add.

Continue stirring in the contact solution until the slime begins pulling away from the sides of the bowl.

Take the slime from the bowl and knead it with your hands, continuing to add small amounts of contact solution until it is the consistency you’re looking for.

Place the slime on a mat or the table. Add a small amount of the star glitter and fine gold glitter. (It’s better to start with a small amount and add later if needed; too many stars may cause them to fall out when the slime is played with.)

Fold the slime over itself a few times, and then knead in the glitter until it’s well mixed.

Your Wonder Woman slime is complete!
