You may recognize her name from previous books including Tiny Creatures: The World of Microbes, Bat Loves the Night, and Poop: A Natural History of the Unmentionable. Our family received a review copy of the new Davies book, Many: The Diversity of Life on Earth. In this book, Nicola Davies teams up with Emily Sutton again. (Previously, Davies and Sutton created the book Tiny Creatures: The World of Microbes, one of our favorite Davies books!)
In Many: The Diversity of Life on Earth, Davies and Sutton discuss the wide variety of life on Earth and how the many creatures, from the smallest microbe to the largest mammal, work together to make our planet whole and happy. Davies explains how the world is interconnected and how we must work together to protect the planet, or else we risk the extinction of more species.
